Humanitarian Photography- After the Asian tsunami, I had the harrowing yet thrilling experience of being with one of the first international relief teams on the ground in Indonesia. Needless to say, this resulted in some striking images and soon the NPPA’s News Photographer magazine requested to feature some of my work along with a written account of my personal experiences as an NGO photographer.
Humanitarian Photographic Narratives: Towards a Representation of Hope in the Midst of Suffering- An attempt to articulate my personal methodology of christian humanitarian photography to a scholarly audience. Written & presented in 2006, at a conference of the Human Rights Institute.
